Role: UI Designer
The Christmas Food to Order service is a new single platform, which enables colleagues in store and customers online to view and pre-order Christmas festive food, decorations, tableware, crackers and much more on one website, ready to collect in store on the days leading up to Christmas.

Approach
In the past, the Christmas food to order service was available through an in-store catalogue. Now we gave customers the option of being able to order online and collect in-store.
We started collating marketing insights from the previous year, competitor analysis and customer interviews, the product kicked off with UX, UI and development working side by side from the get go.

Test, Learn, Refine
Following discovery, we identified core journeys and missions that the product owner would need to address for our customers. We engaged with key stakeholders in the business throughout the process to make sure that business needs and logistics were being considered in the product design.Â
After doing user testing to validate our design, we started with the UI, making sure it was in line with the new branding and brochure look and feel.
