The LondonGov website is aĀ place for Londoners to discover more about the Mayor's work and staying updated about what's happening in the city.


BACKGROUND
The Mayorās Office commissioned research in 2014 to help understand what Londoners and other audiences wanted from the City Hall website. This revealed that Londoners knew relatively little about the work that goes on in City Hall, with many feeling that the old site was often difficult to navigate, with information presented in a complex and technical manner.Ā The direction that the design and user experience of the new site took was based entirely on user feedback.
APPROACH
Working closely with the City Hall office, we defined a strategy to keep Londoners engaged with what is happening around them. A website whereĀ getting access to information about their borough, events, and decisions that affect where they live.








RESULTS
Londoners found the website really easy to navigate, with a vibrant and colourful layout. TheĀ content was displayed in a more engaging way, easy toĀ scan and understands. Overall thanks to this new rebranding,Ā Londoners finally feltĀ engaged and involved in what's happening in their city and up to speed toĀ the latestĀ from the City Hall.
