The Nawest iBanking app allows customers to check their finances on the move and make instant money transfer and payments.
Background
Following the worldwide sales due to top 170 million by the end of 2013, Natwest saw in the iPad the ideal tool to be used to help their clients offering an alternative to their existing range of Smartshop apps. This app will provide customers with a free, quick, convenient, secure, and easy-to-use unique banking experience.
Approach
Working agile with the Natwest and Monitise teams, we defined quickly the main features to develop in order to build a simple and unique experience. We proceed with drawing sketches and designing detailed wireframes assembled in quick prototypes, to be tested with the client. Once the UX was approved, we proceeded with the design and animations. Thanks to the quick feedback from the client and iterating testing, we built an app with the in-house development team.


Features & Benefits
The new iBanking app allows customers to access both sterling and currency accounts with a single log-in, simply by using the customer number, partial PIN and password.
They can also make payments, transfer funds between accounts and track their history.
